Σαμουὴλ δὲ γέγονε μὲν ἴσως ἄνθρωπος, παρείληπται δ’ οὐχ ὡς σύνθετον ζῷον, ἀλλ’ ὡς νοῦς λατρείᾳ καὶ θεραπείᾳ θεοῦ μόνῃ χαίρων· ἑρμηνεύεται γὰρ τεταγμένος θεῷ διὰ τὸ τὰς πράξεις ὅσαι κατὰ κενὰς δόξας συνίστανται χαλεπὴν ἀταξίαν εἶναι νομίζειν.
