Διειλεγμένοι δὴ περὶ τούτων ἱκανῶς ἐπὶ τὰ ἀκόλουθα τῷ λόγῳ τρεψώμεθα. ἔφαμεν τοίνυν ἐκ τοῦ μεθύειν καὶ τὴν πολλοὺς πολλάκις μεγάλα βλάπτουσαν γαστριμαργίαν δηλοῦσθαι, ᾗ τοὺς χρωμένους ἔστιν ἰδεῖν, κἂν τὰς τοῦ σώματος δεξαμενὰς ἀποπληρωθῶσι πάσας, ἔτι κενοὺς τὰς ἐπιθυμίας ὄντας·
