χρήσιμον δὲ καὶ τὰ περὶ εὑρέσεως καὶ ζητήσεως φιλοσοφηθέντα τῷ νομοθέτῃ μὴ ἡσυχασθῆναι. τοὺς μὲν γὰρ εἰσάγει μηδὲν μήτε ζητοῦντας μήτε εὑρίσκοντας, τοὺς δὲ ἐν ἑκατέρῳ κατορθοῦντας, ἐνίους δὲ θάτερον περιπεποιημένους, ὧν οἱ μὲν ζητοῦντες οὐχ εὑρίσκουσιν, οἱ δ’ εὑρίσκουσιν οὐ ζητήσαντες.
