ἀρραβῶνά τις ἔδωκεν ὠνητικῶς ἔχουσα διάνοια τοῦ καλλίστου κτήματος, θεοσεβείας, διὰ τριῶν ἐνεχύρων ἢ συμβόλων, δακτυλίου, ὁρμίσκου, ῥάβδου (ibid. 18), βεβαιότητα καὶ πίστιν, εἱρμὸν καὶ ἀκολουθίαν λόγου πρὸς βίον καὶ βίου πρὸς λόγον, ὀρθὴν καὶ ἀκλινῆ παιδείαν, ᾗ λυσιτελὲς ἐπερείδεσθαι.
