προσηκόντως οὖν λέγεται· „καὶ ἔσται τὰ σάββατα τῆς γῆς ὑμῖν βρώματα“ (Lev. 25, 6), δι’ ὑπονοιῶν· τρόφιμον γὰρ καὶ ἀπολαυστὸν μόνον ἡ ἐν θεῷ ἀνάπαυσις, τὸ μέγιστον ἀγαθὸν περιποιοῦσα, τὴν ἀπόλεμον εἰρήνην. ἡ μὲν γὰρ κατὰ πόλεις ἀνακέκραται ἐμφυλίῳ πολέμῳ, ἡ δὲ ψυχῆς ἀμιγὴς διαφορᾶς ἁπάσης ἐστίν.
