ἄξιον γὰρ δεδιέναι, μὴ τὸ χεῖρον τῆς ψυχῆς μέρος ἐξ ἐνέδρας λοχῆσαν ἢ καὶ ἐκ τοῦ φανεροῦ κονισάμενον ἀνατρέψῃ καὶ καταβάλῃ τὸ κρεῖττον. συμβουλὴ δ’ ἀρίστη τῆς ὀρθογνώμονος ἐπιμονῆς, Ῥεβέκκας ἥδε·
