σαφῶς εἰδώς, ὅτι περιττὸν ὄνομα οὐδὲν τίθησιν, ὑπὸ τῆς τοῦ πραγματολογεῖν ἀμυθήτου φορᾶς ἠπόρουν κατ’ ἐμαυτόν, διὰ τί τὸν ἑκουσίως κτείναντα οὐκ εἶπε θανατοῦσθαι μόνον, ἀλλὰ θανάτῳ θανατοῦσθαι· τίνι γὰρ ἄλλῳ ὁ ἀποθνῄσκων ἢ θανάτῳ τελευτᾷ;
