τούτῳ μὲν οὖν τὸ θεῖον ἀεὶ παρίσταται πνεῦμα πάσης ὀρθῆς ἀφηγούμενον ὁδοῦ, τῶν δὲ ἄλλων, ὡς ἔφην, τάχιστα διαζεύγνυται, ὧν καὶ τὸν βίον ἐν εἴκοσι καὶ ἑκατὸν ἐτῶν ἀριθμῷ πεπλήρωκε· λέγει γάρ· „ἔσονται αἱ ἡμέραι αὐτῶν ἔτη ἑκατὸν εἴκοσιν“ (Gen. 6,3).
