ἀναπλάττουσιν ἔνιοι μακράς τινας καὶ ἀπεράτους εὐτυχίας ἑαυτοῖς, αἱ δ’ ἀρχαὶ μεγάλων κακῶν εἰσι· καὶ σπεύδοντες ὡς ἐπ’ ἀγαθῶν κληρονομίαν εὑρίσκουσι δεινὰς κακοπραγίας, καὶ τοὐναντίον κακὸν προσδοκήσαντες ἀγαθοῖς ἐνέτυχον.
