λέγεται γοῦν μηδέποτε κοινὴ νόσος κατασκῆψαι τοσαύτη, καθάπερ ἣν ἰατρῶν παῖδες ὀνομάζουσιν ἑρπῆνα· καὶ γὰρ αὕτη πᾶσι τοῖς μέρεσιν ἐπιφοιτῶσα τὴν κοινωνίαν τῶν ἡλκωμένων σωμάτων ὅλην δι’ ὅλων στοιχηδὸν πυρὸς τρόπον ἐπινέμεται.
