ὁ δὲ χρηστοῖς καὶ φιλανθρώποις λόγοις εὐθυμοτέρους αὐτοὺς ἐποίει φάσκων· „οὐδεὶς ἀσεβής ἐστιν οὕτως, ὡς τὰς τοῦ θεοῦ χάριτας συκοφαντεῖν, ὃς ἵλεως εἴη· θησαυροὺς γὰρ ἐν τοῖς ὑμετέροις ὤμβρησεν ἀγγείοις οὐ μόνον τροφὰς ἀλλὰ καὶ πλοῦτον ἐξ ἑτοίμου διδούς.“
