συγγνωστὸς δ’ ἴσως τῆς ἄγαν ἀπαιδευσίας, ἅτε τὴν δίαιταν ἐν μαγειρείῳ ποιούμενος αἵματος καὶ καπνοῦ καὶ τέφρας ἀνάπλεῳ, τοῦ λογισμοῦ καιρὸν οὐκ ἔχοντος ἐνηρεμεῖν καὶ σχολάζειν ἑαυτῷ διὰ τὸ πεφύρθαι μᾶλλον ἢ οὐχ ἧττον τοῦ σώματος.
