εἰ δὲ τὰ ἐξ ἀκρασίας στάσεις ἐμφύλιοι καὶ πόλεμοι καὶ κακὰ ἐπὶ κακοῖς ἀμύθητα, δῆλον ὅτι τὰ ἐκ σωφροσύνης εὐστάθεια καὶ εἰρήνη καὶ τελείων κτῆσις ἀγαθῶν καὶ ἀπόλαυσις.
