ταῦτα φρονῶν ἐξετασθήσομαι μηδὲν ὑποστέλλων μηδὲ συγκρύπτων φωρὸς τρόπον, ἀλλὰ τὸ συνειδὸς αὐγάζων ὡς ἐν ἡλίῳ καὶ φωτί· φῶς γὰρ ἡ ἀλήθεια· φοβηθήσομαι δ’ οὐδὲν ὧν ἂν ἐπανατείνηται, κἂν θάνατον ἀπειλῇ· θανάτου γὰρ ἐμοὶ κακὸν ἀργαλεώτερον ὑπόκρισις. ἣν ὑπομενῶ τοῦ χάριν;
