καθάπερ γὰρ οἱ τὰ σώματα εὐπαγεῖς, ὅταν τὴν ἐξ ἀθλητικῆς ἄσκησιν προσλάβωσι, νευροῦνται δύναμιν ἀνανταγώνιστον καὶ εὐεξίαν ὑπερβάλλουσαν κτώμενοι, τὸν αὐτὸν τρόπον, ὅταν ἀτίθασος καὶ ἀμείλικτος φύσις ἄσκησιν εἰς τὸ ἀνήμερον προσλάβῃ, διχόθεν ἄβατος καὶ ἀπρόσιτος οἴκτῳ γίνεται, χρηστῷ πάθει καὶ φιλανθρώπῳ.
