ἀλλ’ ὅμως ὁ τοιοῦτος ἡμερωθεὶς ὑπὸ τῆς τοῦ νεανίσκου καλοκἀγαθίας οὐ μόνον ἀδείας καὶ ἐκεχειρίας μετέδωκεν, ἀλλὰ καὶ ἀρχῆς τῆς ἐφ’ ἅπασι τοῖς δεσμώταις, ὡς λόγῳ μὲν ἕνεκα προσχήματος ἐμμένειν εἱρκτοφύλαξ, τὴν δ’ ἐν ἔργοις τάξιν παρακεχωρηκέναι τῷ νεανίᾳ, δι’ ἧς οὐκ ὀλίγα συνέβαινε τοὺς ἀπαχθέντας ὠφελεῖσθαι.
