καὶ ὁ μὲν ὥσπερ εἰκὸς συγχυθεὶς ἀνατέτραπτο, καραδοκῶν τὴν ὁρισθεῖσαν προθεσμίαν καὶ τῇ διανοίᾳ τὰς ἀνίας προσδεχόμενος. ὡς δ’ αἱ τρεῖς ἡμέραι διῆλθον, γενέθλιος ἐπέστη τοῦ βασιλέως, ἐν ᾗ πάντες οἱ κατὰ τὴν χώραν ἐπανηγύριζον, διαφερόντως δ’ οἱ περὶ τὰ βασίλεια.
