πηγὴ τεχνῶν καὶ ἐπιστημῶν ἀνωμολόγηται. παρατετηρημένως δὲ οὐ τὸν ἐνεστῶτα, ἀλλὰ τὸν μέλλοντα τῇ ὑποσχέσει χρόνον προδιώρισται, εἰπὼν οὐχ ἣν δείκνυμι ἀλλ’ „ἥν σοι δείξω“ (Gen. 12,1), εἰς μαρτυρίαν πίστεως ἣν ἐπίστευσεν ἡ ψυχὴ θεῷ, οὐκ ἐκ τῶν ἀποτελεσμάτων ἐπιδεικνυμένη τὸ εὐχάριστον, ἀλλ’ ἐκ προσδοκίας τῶν μελλόντων·
