ἔχει δὲ ὡς ἔλεγον καὶ τὰς ἀναλογίας πάσας· ἀριθμητικὴν μὲν ἐκ τῶν ἓξ καὶ ἐννέα καὶ δώδεκα· οἷς γὰρ ὑπερέχει ὁ μέσος τοῦ πρώτου τρισίν, τούτοις ὑπερέχεται ὑπὸ τοῦ τελευταίου· γεωμετρικὴν δὲ ἐκ τῶν τεσσάρων· ὃν γὰρ λόγον ἔχει τὰ ὀκτὼ πρὸς ἕξ, τοῦτον τὰ δώδεκα πρὸς ἐννέα· ὁ δὲ λόγος ἐπίτριτος· ἁρμονικὴν δὲ ἐκ τριῶν, τοῦ ἓξ καὶ ὀκτὼ καὶ δώδεκα.
