ἑκάτερον δὲ πλείονος οἴνου χρῆσιν ἐμφαίνει, ἣν πολλῶν ἕνεκα αἰτιῶν οὐκ ἂν ἀποστρέφοιτο ὁ σπουδαῖος. εἰ δὲ οἰνωθήσεται, καὶ μεθυσθήσεται, χεῖρον οὐδὲν ἐκ τῆς μέθης διατεθείς, ἀλλὰ ταὐτὸν ὅπερ καὶ [ὁ] ἐκ ψιλῆς τῆς οἰνώσεως παθών.
