καὶ μὴν τὰ μὲν φυτὰ κατωκάρα ἀπειργάζετο τὰς κεφαλὰς αὐτῶν ἐν τοῖς βαθυγειοτάτοις γῆς μέρεσι πήξας, ζῴων δὲ τῶν ἀλόγων τὰς κεφαλὰς ἀνελκύσας ἀπὸ γῆς ἐπὶ προμήκους αὐχένος ἄκρας ἡρμόζετο τῷ αὐχένι ὥσπερ ἐπίβασιν τοὺς ἐμπροσθίους πόδας θείς.
