τὸ γὰρ „ἀφορίζεται εἰς τέσσαρας ἀρχὰς“ οὐ τούτων διάστασιν, ἀλλ’ ἀρετῶν ἡγεμονίαν ἐμφαίνει καὶ κράτος. αὗται δὲ καθάπερ ἐκ μιᾶς ῥίζης ἐκπεφύκασι τοῦ θείου λόγου, ὃν εἰκάζει ποταμῷ διὰ τὴν ἀένναον καὶ συνεχῆ φορὰν ποτίμων λόγων καὶ δογμάτων,
