καὶ μὴν ὅ γε Λάμεχ ταπείνωσις ὢν ἀμφίβολός ἐστιν· ἢ γὰρ ὑφιεμένων τῶν τῆς ψυχῆς τόνων κατὰ τὰ ἐξ ἀλόγων παθῶν ἐγγενόμενα νοσήματά τε καὶ ἀρρωστήματα ταπεινούμεθα ἢ κατ’ ἀρετῆς ζῆλον στέλλοντες ἑαυτοὺς ἀπὸ οἰδούσης οἰήσεως.
