τοῖς μὲν γὰρ εἰς τὸν τοῦ βίου σάλον καὶ κλύδωνα παρεληλυθόσιν ἐπινηχομένοις ἀνάγκη φορεῖσθαι, μηδενὸς ἐχυροῦ τῶν ἐπιστήμης ἐνειλημμένοις, εἰκότων δὲ καὶ πιθανῶν ἠρτημένοις· τῷ δὲ θεοῦ θεραπευτῇ πρεπῶδες ἀληθείας περιέχεσθαι, τὴν τῶν εὐλόγων εἰκαστικὴν καὶ ἀβέβαιον μυθοποιίαν χαίρειν ἐῶντι.
