Δυσὶ δὲ μόναις ἡμέραις ἐπιτρέπει τὴν χρῆσιν τῆς τοῦ σωτηρίου θυσίας ποιεῖσθαι μηδὲν εἰς τὴν τρίτην ἀπολείποντας, πολλῶν χάριν· ἑνὸς μὲν ὅτι τὰ τῆς ἱερᾶς τραπέζης πάντα καιρίως δεῖ προσφέρεσθαι σπουδὴν ποιουμένους, ὡς μὴ μεταβάλῃ μήκει χρόνου· κρεῶν δὲ ἑώλων εὔσηπτος ἡ φύσις, κἂν ἡδύσμασι παραρτυθῇ.
