Ἤδη δ’ ἀναγκαῖον καὶ τὴν ὑπόσχεσιν ἀποδοῦναι τῆς περὶ τὴν τέφραν ταύτην ἰδιότητος· ἔστι γὰρ οὐ ξύλων αὐτὸ μόνον δαπανηθέντων ὑπὸ πυρός, ἀλλὰ καὶ ζῴου πρὸς τὴν τοιαύτην κάθαρσιν ἐπιτηδείου.
