δόξης ε ὄνομα παρέχεσθαι κάλλος, ὅταν ἐσπαθημέναι γράμμασιν φαίνωσιν αἱ συλλαβαί ι, καὶ δράξασθαι τὸ σ τόμα καὶ ῥίπτε ιν ὀγκώδεις συλλαβὰς τῶν λαμπροτάτων φθό γγων· εἶναι δὲ λαμπρότ α τον τὸ λά βδα. καὶ γὰρ κ αὶ τοῦ λαμπροῦ πρῶτον εἶναι καὶ τοῦ στίλβειν κορυφαῖον, ὡς αἴτ ιον τοῦ φλογώδους ἐν τ ῆι διαλέκτωι γινόμε νο ν.
