7. Ὅτι, τελευτήσαντος Ἀρκαδίου, διάδοχος τῆς ἑῴας ἀρχῆς καμιδῇ νέος ὢν Θεοδόσιος ὁ παῖς ἀναδείκνυται. συνῆν δ’ αὐτῷ καὶ Πουλχερία ἡ ἀδελφὴ τὰς βασιλικὰς σημειώσεις ὑπηρετουμένη καὶ διευθύνουσα.
