μὴ δεύτερα τῶν προειρημένων σοφιστῶν μηδὲ Ἱππόδρομόν τις ἡγείσθω τὸν Θετταλὸν, τῶν μὲν γὰρ βελτίων φαίνεται, τῶν δὲ οὐκ οἶδα ὅ τι λείπεται. ἱπποδρόμῳ τοίνυν πατρὶς μὲν ἦν Λάρισσα πόλις εὖ πράττουσα ἐν Θετταλοῖς, πατὴρ δὲ Ὀλυμπιόδωρος παρελθὼν ἱπποτροφίᾳ Θετταλοὺς πάντας.
