μοχλός· παρὰ τὸ ὁμοῦ καὶ τὴν κλεῖν ἔχειν ὠνόμασται, ὃς ἅμα αὐτῷ τὴν κλεῖν ἔχει. οὕτω Φιλόξενος ἐν τῇ περὶ Ῥωμαίων διαλέκτῳ· ἀλλαχοῦ δέ φησιν· παρὰ τὸ μολῶ μοχλὸς πλεονασμῷ τοῦ χ̄.
