οἱ δὲ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀϲκαλαβώτου δηχθέντεϲ ϲυντόνωϲ ἀλγοῦϲιν καὶ τὸ δῆγμα πελιὸν ἴϲχουϲιν. βοηθοῦνται δὲ παραχρῆμα καταπλαϲϲόμενοι τὴν πληγὴν κρομμύοιϲ, ϲκορόδοιϲ, ἔτι καὶ ἐϲθίοντεϲ αὐτά, καὶ οἰνον ἄκρατον ἐπιρροφοῦντεϲ· ἢ ϲήϲαμον λεάναϲ μεθ᾿ ὕδατοϲ κατάπλαϲϲε ἢ μελάνθιον ὁμοίωϲ.
