ἡ δὲ καῦϲιϲ ἀνυϲιμώτατον ἐπὶ πάντων τῶν ἰοβόλων ἐϲτὶ βοήθημα· τὸ γὰρ πῦρ, πάϲηϲ τῆϲ ἄλληϲ δυνάμεωϲ εὐτονώτερον ὑπάρχον, ὁμοῦ μὲν κρατεῖ καὶ κωλύει φἑρεϲθαι τὸν ἰὸν ἐϲωτέρω, ὁμοῦ δὲ ἀναλίϲκει τὸ κρατηθὲν αὐτοῦ μέροϲ, τῇ δ’ ἑξῆϲ θεραπείᾳ προκαταβολὴν οὐ τὴν τυχοῦϲαν ἐργάζεται, παραμενούϲηϲ τῆϲ ἑλκώϲεωϲ ἐπὶ πλέον μετὰ τὴν ἔκπτωϲιν τῆϲ ἐϲχάραϲ· ἐν τοῖϲ μάλιϲτα δὲ καὶ τούτου φροντιϲτέον,
