τοῖϲ οὖν ὑπὸ τούτων δηχθεῖϲιν παρακολουθεῖ | τάδε· οἴδημα 2 μελανίζον, ἄλγημα ϲφοδρόν, νομή, παρακοπή, ξηρότηϲ ϲώματοϲ, λυγμόϲ, ἔμετοϲ χολωδῶν, οὔρων ἐποχή, ἀφωνία, κάροϲ, τρόμοϲ καὶ μετὰ ῥωγμοῦ θάνατοϲ, τοῖϲ δὲ πατήϲαϲιν αὐτὸν ἐκδορὰ ϲκελῶν καὶ οἰδήματα, καὶ καθ᾿ ὅλου κατὰ νέκρωϲιν τῶν δηχθέντων τόπων ὁ θάνατοϲ τοῖϲ πλείϲτοιϲ· οὕτω δὲ δυναμικώτατοϲ ὁ ἰόϲ, ὡϲ καὶ τοὺϲ θεραπεύονταϲ ἰατροὺϲ τὰϲ χεῖραϲ βλάπτειν.
