2 οἱ δὲ κιρροί, οἱ δὲ τεφρώδειϲ· μεγέθει δὲ πάλιν κατὰ πολὺ διαφέρουϲιν· οἱ μὲν γάρ εἰϲιν πήχεων πέντε, οἱ δὲ δέκα, οἱ δὲ δέκα πέντε, οἱ δὲ εἴκοϲιν, οἱ δὲ τριάκοντα, ἱϲτοροῦνται δὲ καὶ μείζονεϲ. φολίϲιν δὲ κέχρηνται καθ’ ὅλον τὸ ϲῶμα, μεγάλουϲ δὲ ἔχουϲι τοὺϲ ὀφθαλμούϲ, καὶ ὑπὲρ τούτουϲ δὲ ἔχουϲιν ἐξοχάϲ τιναϲ, ἐοικυίαϲ ἐπι ϲκυνίοιϲ, ὑπὸ δὲ τῷ γενείῳ ἀπόφυϲίν τινα ἔχουϲιν, ἥν καλοῦϲιν πώγωνα.
