ἡ μὲν 2 οὖν θήλεια ἐγκειμένη τῇ γαϲτρὶ ἐπὶ γῆϲ ἕρπει, καὶ ἡ ἕδρα αὐτῆϲ περὶ τὴν οὐρὰν κάτω τέτακται, ἐπὶ δὲ τοῦ ἄρρενοϲ πρὸϲ τῇ γαϲτρί. παρέπεται δὲ τούτων τοῖϲ δήγμαϲιν τόποϲ ἔναιμοϲ καὶ κακόχρουϲ, μελανίζων, μηδὲν ἀποκρίνων εἰ μὴ ὀλίγον ὑδατῶδεϲ, ϲτομάχου πόνοϲ, δύϲπνοια, αἱμορραγία διὰ τῶν μυκτήρων καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν τρήϲεων τοῦ δήγματοϲ, καὶ οὐλαί, ὅϲαι εἰϲὶ κατὰ τὸ ϲῶμα, ἀπορρήγνυνται καὶ αἱμορροοῦϲιν.
