3 κατ᾿ ἰδίαν δὲ δ παραδίδωϲιν ἡμῖν ὁ Ϲτράτων ἐν τοῖϲ αὑτοῦ ϲυγγράμμαϲίν ἐϲτι τόδε· κατάπλαϲϲε δέ, φηϲὶν οὗτοϲ, δάφνηϲ φύλλοιϲ λελεαϲμένοιϲ, καὶ τὸ ἀφέψημα δὲ τῆϲ δάφνηϲ μετ᾿ οἴνου δίδου πίνειν, ἢ ὀπὸν Κυρηναικὸν μετ᾿ οἴνου κεκραμένου δίδου πίνειν, ἢ ϲμύρνῃ ὁμοίωϲ χρηϲτέον, ἢ πέπερι μετὰ πηγάνου καὶ ϲμύρνηϲ ϲυλλεάναϲ δίδου μετ᾿ οἴνου ζωροτέρου, ἢ ϲίλφιον λεάναϲ μετ᾿ οἴνου ὁμοίωϲ.
