Ἀπολλώνιοϲ δὲ 5 ἐν τοῖϲ Εὐπορίϲτοιϲ παραινεῖ· ϲκόροδα τρίψαϲ ϲὺν τοῖϲ λεπίϲμαϲιν καὶ κυμίνου τὸ ἴϲον διεὶϲ ἐλαίῳ κατάπλαϲϲε τὰ δήγματα καὶ ϲυνάλειφε τοὺϲ κύκλῳ τόπουϲ. ἐὰν δ᾿ ἐκραγῇ καὶ ἑλκωθῇ, ὀξάλμῃ κατάντλει καὶ κριθὰϲ καύϲαϲ ἐπίπαϲϲε ἐπὶ τὰ ἕλκη· οὐκ ἐκραγήϲεται δέ, φηϲίν, ἐὰν μὴ κύουϲα τυγχάνῃ ἡ δακοῦϲα μυγαλῆ. ἐπὰν δὲ ἑλκωθῇ, ϲίδια ἑφθὰ ῥόαϲ γλυκείαϲ κατάπλαϲϲε, καὶ μυρϲίνηϲ ἀποζέματι κατ αντλητέον, καὶ πᾶϲιν τοῖϲ πρὸϲ νομὰϲ χρηϲτέον.
