5 ἕνεκα δὲ τοῦ καὶ διὰ τῶν ἄλλων ἠϲφαλίϲθαι πρὸϲ ἄφευκτον εἶναι δοκοῦντα κίνδυνον, οὐδὲν τὸ κωλῦόν ἐϲτι καὶ τοῖϲ λοιποῖϲ χρήϲαϲθαι βοηθήμαϲιν· αἱρετώτερον γὰρ διακενῆϲ, ἂν οὕτω τύχῃ, | τῶν βοηθημάτων τὸ ἀπάνθρωπον ὑπομεῖναι, ἢ διὰ τὴν ὀλιγωρίαν κινδύνῳ περιπεϲεῖν.
