Πολυκρατίδας πρεσβεύων πρὸς τοὺς βασιλέως στρατηγοὺς μεθʼ ἑτέρων, ἐρομένων αὐτῶν πότερον ἰδίᾳ πάρεισιν ἢ δημοσίᾳ ἐπέμφθησαν, αἴκα τύχωμεν, δημοσίᾳ, εἶπεν, αἰ δὲ μὴ, ἰδίᾳ.
