ζʹ. Ἀμὼς ἦν ἐκ Θεκουέ. Καὶ Ἀμασίας πυκνῶς αὐτὸν τυμπανίσας τέλος, καὶ ἀνεῖλεν αὐτὸν ὁ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἐν ῥοπάλῳ πλήξας αὐτοῦ τὸν κρόταφον· καὶ ἔτι ἐμπνέων ἦλθεν εἰς τὴν γῆν αὐτοῦ καὶ μεθ᾽ ἡμέρας ἀπέθανε καὶ ἐτάφη ἐκεῖ.
