ηʹ. Ἰωὴλ ἦν ἐκ τῆς γῆς τοῦ Ῥουβὴν ἐν ἀγρῷ Βεθωμόρων, [προφητεύσας περὶ λιμοῦ καὶ ἐκθλίψεως θυσιῶν καὶ πάθους προφήτου δικαίου καὶ δι᾽ αὐτοῦ ἀνακαινισθήσεθαι τὴν κτίσιν εἰς σωτηρίαν]. Ἐν εἰρήνῃ ἀπέθανε καὶ ἐτάφη ἐκεῖ.
