Ὁ τῆς ἀποπομπῆς τράγος τὸν τύπον τοῦ τὰς τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἁμαρτίας ἀναλαμβάνοντος ἐξετέλει. Οἱ δὲ δύο τὴν μίαν περιεῖχον τοῦ ἐνανθρωπήσαντος θεοῦ οἰκονομίαν· ἐτραυματίσθη γὰρ διὰ τὰς ἀνομίας ἡμῶν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἁμαρτίας πολλῶν ἀνήνεγκε, καὶ διὰ τὰς ἀνομίας αὐτῶν παρεδόθη.
