ἀφρόν τ’ ἀπέψα σώματός τ’ ἐτημέλει
πέπλου τε προὐκάλυπτεν εὐπήκτους ὑφάς,
τὸ γὰρ σφαγῆναι τόνδ’ ἐμοὶ βάρος μέγα·
ὁ ναυστολῶν γάρ εἰμ’ ἐγὼ τὰς συμφορᾶς.
τῷδε μὲν δέλτον δίδου·
πέμψω γὰρ Ἄργος, ὥστε σοι καλῶς ἔχειν·
ἡμᾶς δ’ ὁ χρῄζων κτεινέτω.
