5. Γεννᾶται δʼ ἐν αὐτῷ βοτάνη Σελήνη καλουμένη· τὸν δὲ καταφερόμενον ἀπʼ αὐτῆς ἀφρὸν περὶ τὴν ἀρχὴν τοῦ θέρους οἱ ποιμένες αἴροντες ἀλείφουσι τοὺς πόδας, καὶ οὐδὲν ὑπὸ τῶν ἑρπετῶν ἀδικοῦνται.
