Χείλη χαλαρά, ὡς ἐπιβεβλῆσθαι τοῖς κάτω τὰ ἄνω, Ps. Pol. μεγαλόνοιαν καὶ ἀνδρείαν δηλοῦσι· τῶν γὰρ λεόντων τοιαῦτα τὰ χείλη. τὰ γὰρ λεπτὰ χείλη ἐπὶ τὸ μεῖζον αὐτῶν στόμα ἐπιτείνεται. εἰ δὲ ἐπὶ μικροῖς στόμασι λεπτά εἰσι χείλη, δειλόν, ἄνανδρον καὶ δολερὸν σημαίνουσιν.
