Χεῖρες ἁπαλαὶ καὶ μαλακαὶ εὐφυῆ ἄνδρα ημαίνουσιʼ ..................................... χεῖρες πάνυ κολοβαὶ μωρίας ὑπάρχουσι σημεῖον, εἰ δέ εἰσι παχεῖαι, καὶ μιαρίας. στεναὶ καὶ λεπταὶ χεῖρες ἀπιστότατον δηλοῦσιν ἄνδρα. παχεῖαι χεῖρες κοντοὺς ἔχουσαι [p. 269] δακτύλους ἄπληστον ἄνδρα δηλοῦσι· μικραὶ δὲ πάνυ χεῖρες πανοῦργον καὶ κλέπτην δηλοῦσι.
