ΓΕΛΩΣ.
Πέλανον καλοῦμεν ἡμεῖς οἱ θεοί,
ἃ καλεῖτε σεμνῶς ἄλφιθ' ὑμεῖς οἱ βροτοί.
Ὦ βατίδες, ὦ γλαύκων κάρα.
Μέλητον τὸν ἀπὸ Ληναίου νεκρόν.
Κεραμικὴν γαῖαν στρέφων.
