109. δουρὶ κλυτόν] τὸ κλυτός, εἰ πτωτικὸν κατάρχοι, ἐν συνθέσει βαρύτονόν ἐστι, τοξόκλυτος ὀνομάκλυτος, εἰ δὲ ἄπτωτον, φυλάσσει τὸν αὐτὸν τόνον, περικλυτός ἀγακλυτός. διὸ σημειωτέον τὸ ναυσικλυ- τός ὀξυνόμενον. ὅτι γὰρ σύνθετόν ἐστι, δῆλον ἐκ τοῦ μένειν τὸ α τῆς ναυσί δοτικῆς· κατʼ ἰδίαν γὰρ παρὰ τῷ ποιητῇ ἢ διὰ τοῦ η λέγεται ἢ διὰ τοῦ ε, ἐν δὲ συνθέσει διὰ τοῦ α, Ναυσικάα Ναυσίθοος. τὸ μὲν οὖν δουρὶ κλυτὸς ἐν παραθέσει ἐστίν.
