157. *τοιῇδ’] ἕν ἐστι· διὸ περισπαστέον τὸ τοιῇδε. 158. * αἰνῶς ἀθανάτῃσι] ὡς “αἰνῶς γὰρ κεφαλήν τε καὶ ὄμματα” (Od. 1, 208). *οὐκ ὀρθῶς τινὲς τὸ αἰνῶς τῷ πάσχειν συνάπτουσιν. 159. ὧς] περισπαστέον τὸ ως· ἀντὶ γὰρ τοῦ ὅμως. 160. ἡμῖν] ὀρθοτονητέον· ἔστι γὰρ ἐν συμπλοκῇ διασταλτικῶς εἰλημμένη, ἡμῖν καὶ τοῖς τέκνοις. 163. *ἴδῃ] ὅτι χωρὶς τοῦ σ γράφειν ὁμηρικώτερον.
