203. ἄδδην] Νικίας διὰ δύο δ γράφει διὰ τὸ μέτρον, ὁμοίως τῷ “κύον ἀδδεές” (Il. 21. 481), καὶ ψιλοῖ Ἀρίσταρχος δὲ διʼ ἑνὸς δ καὶ βραχέως καὶ δασέως· τὸ γὰρ α πρὸ τοῦ δ δεκτικὸν μὲν ψιλοῦται, ὡς τὸ ἀδολέσχης ἀδρανής, μὴ οὕτως δὲ ἔχον δασύνεται “ἅδε δ᾿ Ἕκτορι” (Il. 12, 80) “ἅδος τέ μιν ἵκετο θυμόν” (Il. 11, 88). καὶ τὸ Ἄδωνις δέ τινες δασύνουσι παρὰ τὸ ἥδω. μάχεται τὸ ἀδρά- φαξυς, δεκτικὸν ἔχον τὸ α καὶ δασυνόμενον.
